History |
The company is a direct descendant of Tacchi & Burgess, a building contracting business founded in St.Albans in 1909, which undertook a diverse type and value of work, both locally and in London.
Over the years the company developed in size and stature to become an established medium sized construction business. The company was incorporated in 1982 as T&B (Contractors) Limited.
The company is highly respected with almost 100 years of unbroken trading, in which it has developed an enviable reputation for the very highest quality of workmanship and excellent project delivery.
T&B is structured into two operating divisions: Main Contracting and Special Works, and now employs around 80 staff from the group owned offices in Wheathampstead, St.Albans.
The company was acquired by Borras Group Holdings in July 2001 to exploit business opportunities within the market place and to compliment the building activities of Borras Construction Limited, a family firm that was founded in 1980.
