In challenging times health, safety and welfare is still our number one priority. We are very proud of our excellent safety record – with an accident rate that is consistently less than half the industry average.

However, we understand that we cannot stop looking to improve as Kane Blatchford our in-house Health and Safety Manager is well aware:

As a result T&B’s senior management set challenging Health, Safety and Welfare objectives and targets aimed at continually improving our performance taking us beyond mere compliance into industry leading performance areas we target include:

• Targeting near misses as learning events.
• Promoting the health and wellbeing of our staff and suppliers.
• Development and provision of best in class health and safety training solutions at all levels in the organisation.

We have already achieved registration to the prestigious BS18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Award recently upgrading to BS18001:2007 in January 2009 with British Standards Institute.

T&B is also a member of the Eastern Builders Safety Group, the British Safety Council and is CHAS Accredited. We promote a positive and pro-active Health & Safety culture throughout the company.
